Ingredients

  • cups water
  • 2 pounds potatoes peeled and sliced into 1” pieces
  • 8 ounces broccoli florets only
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded, optional

Instructions

  • Add the water and potatoes in an even layer to the cooker. On top, sprinkle the broccoli florets.
  • Close the lid and set the valve to the pressure position. Pressure cook on HIGH for 5 minutes.
  • When time is up, release the pressure and open the lid. Sprinkle in the salt and the raw garlic. Mash and serve with a sprinkling of cheddar cheese if desired.
